Grandmaster Tony Ramos
Kajukenbo/Ramos Method
It is with great honor and respect to have Grandmaster Tony Ramos teaching at the Sons of Kenpo/Kempo.
GM Ramos, Jr. will be representing his father, Tony Ramos, and the Ramos Method of Kajukenbo. GM Tony Ramos' father was one of Kajukenbo's most influential Seniors, having started his training in 1948 under Joe Emperado in Hawaii, he was largley responsible for Kajukenbo's spread to the USA mainland, opening one of the first Kajukenbo dojos in California 1962.
Over the years, he continually trained and developed his Kajukenbo style into a unique philosophical and methodical system that was dubbed the Tony Ramos Method, sanctioned by Sijo Adriano Emperado.
It will be an honor and privilege to have GM Ramos share his father's Art Style of Kajukenbo at the Sons of Kenpo/Kempo.
