Thank you for your interest in the Go Shin Jitsu Kai/Chinese Kempo Federation.  The Federation exists on several levels to help the individual achieve their Kenpo/Kempo goals.  Whether you just want to meet Master Chun, Jr. and learn more about his Kenpo/Kempo heritage or are a more serious practitioner whose goal is to learn and be ranked in Go Shin Jitsu Kai/Chinese Kempo system, the Federation has a level that will fit you perfectly.

The Federation has two major subgroups.  The first subgroup is the Go Shin Jitsu Kai/Chinese Kempo Association.  The second subgroup is the actual Go Shin Jitsu Kai/Chinese Kempo Federation.

Go Shin Jitsu Kai/Chinese Kempo Association

The Association is for those individuals or school owners who want to broaden their Kenpo/Kempo knowledge but are happy with their present Art.  This division is perfect for those individuals who are open-minded about their training and want to feel Master Bill Chun, Jr.'s Art firsthand and for those practitioners who wish to cross train in a purer form of Kenpo/Kempo but have no plans or desire to pass this knowledge on to others.  If this sounds like what you've been looking for, then please email the Federation with your request for more information.

Go Shin Jitsu Kai/Chinese Kempo Federation

The Federation is strongly suited for those individuals who want to follow in the footsteps of Professor William Chow and Grandmaster Bill Chun, Sr. by learning the Art of Go Shin Jitsu Kai/Chinese Kempo directly from it's successor, Master Bill Chun, Jr.  Membership in the Federation opens the door for the individual to learn the Go Shin Jitsu Kai/Chinese Kempo curriculum and, when deemed ready by Master Bill Chun, Jr., be a ranking student.  The Federation is divided into three levels.  These levels allow the individual to learn the Go Shin Jitsu Kai/Chinese Kempo system on a level compatible with their training goals.  The three levels are Entry, Beginner, and Advanced.  After passing through the first three levels, the Federation member is then eligible to be accepted as a full time student of the Go Shin Jitsu Kai/Chinese Kempo system.  Here is a more in depth explanation about each level.

Entry Level
(Basics)

This patch is the Federation's entry level patch.  All new members wear this patch.  The outer and inner bands are white showing that the student is in the entry level of their Go Shin Jitsu Kai/Chinese Kempo training.  This stage of the students training focuses on basics, both stationary and moving.

Beginner Level
(Foundation development)

This is the Federation’s Beginner Level patch.  This stage of training focuses on Go Shin Jitsu Kai foundation development. The student is working to develop snap and flow in their movements.  This patch is bestowed only by Master Bill Chun, Jr.

Advanced Level
(Instructor)

This is the Federation’s Advanced patch.  This patch is worn by Senior Federation members who have demonstrated a deep level of skill, as well as trust, loyalty, and commitment to the Federation.  At this level, the student becomes an Instructor and is qualified to teach the basics under Master Chun, Jr.'s guidance.  This patch is bestowed only by Master Bill Chun, Jr.

Go Shin Jitsu Kai/Chinese Kempo

(full student)

This is the Go Shin Jitsu Kai/Chinese Kempo White Mountain/Moon patch.  It is only worn by those students, chosen by Master Chun, Jr., who have  proven themselves to be dedicated and loyal to the Go Shin Jitsu Kai/Chinese Kempo system.  Federation members are eligible to wear this patch after passing through the first three levels.  This patch is bestowed only by Master Bill Chun, Jr.
